448KHZ INDIBA device converts electrical current into a fixed stable frequency of 448 kHz, increasing ionic exchange at a cellular level which encourages tissue repair and assists in pain management. The return plate closes the electrical circuit, enabling our treatments to be delivered in a safe and effective manner for patients and clinicians alike.
The integration of two operational modes, CAP and RES, as well as the low and high output power, makes it easy to obtain subthermal and thermal effects. This allows clinicians at all phases of an injury whether its acute or chronic.
An extensive scientific research proves that 448Khz is the optimal frequency to produce the best therapeutic outcomes available today to do:
Muscle and joint treatments.
Treatment off at and improvement in skin’s appearance.
Treat pelvic Health concerns.
And do rehabilitation
Common uses in physiotherapy
TECAR's main use in physiotherapy relates to the rehabilitation of musculoskeletal and
pain disorders, and sport rehabilitation. [1]Some commonly treated conditions are:
Acute or chronic injuries / inflammation
Muscle spasms
Joint pain
Synovitis
Tendinopathy
Post-surgical
Osteoarthritis
Low back pain
There are also other areas that TECAR uses have been expanded such as pelvic health,
physio-aesthetics, and veterinary rehabilitation.
1. What is Tecar Therapy?
Tecar or “capacitive and resistive electrical transfer” works by generating a physiological activation
within the body’s internal tissues through three reactions: Microcirculation, Vasodilatation and Temperature increase.
This activates the area being treated by:
